Gimp tutoriala (Ingelesez)

Putting several images in the same one

For this explanation I will use four different versions of the photo called “Afgana”

Imagine you have modified an image in some different ways. Maybe you would like to see them altogether in order to appreciate the differences. If so, the best is to put them in the same image.
In order to do that you can do some things:
• The first one, and I think the best one, is to add up widths and lengths and create a new image which has those measures. For example, if you have four images that are 171x256 pixels, you’ll create an image that is 342 (171+171) pixels wide and 512 (256+256) pixels long.

• The second one is to create an image that is bigger than you need. Then select the four images and paste them in a new image, which will be as big as the total size of the four photos.

Once you have done one of these things, it’s time that you open the images you are using for this work. When you have opened the first photo, click on EDIT (EDITAR) option and then click on COPY (COPIAR).

Then go to the blank image and click on EDIT (EDITAR) and then on PASTE ON (PEGAR EN).

Then the image will appear in the middle. Choose MOVE (MOVER) tool and then move the photo to the place you want it to be.

Do the same thing with the other three photos. In the end you should obtain something like this:
